This Barbera from a very old estate in La Morra offers juicy dark fruit, including black cherries, plums, blackcurrants, and a finish of black licorice. The fruit is balanced with racy acidity with a bit of rustic/earthy flavors. This is a classic Barbera d'Alba, and will pair great with pasta meat sauces or try with braised pork.
