The nose is fresh with some red fruits of the forest and sweet crushed cherries; liquorice, hints of tar and mixed spice. The palate has much more complexity than the average Beaujolais, with spice, black pepper and plum, as well as slight herbal or minty hints and lovely savory tannins.
